Nesly Jean-Baptiste

Late Pastor

"Ignorance is not bliss; when the student is ready, the teacher will appear."

Nesly Jean-Baptiste served as pastor of Arverne Church of God, Far Rockaway, NY from 2008.

Pastor Jean-Baptiste was born in Port-au-Prince, Haiti and migrated to the United States in 1970. He received his call to salvation in 1981, and answered this call under the ministry of Pastor Milton P. Browne.

As a young man in Christ, Bro. Jean-Baptiste accepted his walk with the Lord with soberness and sincerity. His desire to serve the Lord wholeheartedly led him into the ministry, and he served in this capacity with diligence and passion. In 2008, he accepted the call to pastor the Far Rockaway congregation after the death of Pastor Browne.

Pastor Jean-Baptiste was a faithful steward of many noble works, including missionary work in Haiti and in Jamaica, West Indies.
